NO NEW YEAR'S CELEBRATION IN ISLĀM
It was authentically reported that the Prophet ﷺ stated,
مَنْ تَشَبَّهَ بِقَوْمٍ فَهُوَ مِنْهُمْ
"Anyone who imitates a people becomes one of them." (Collected by Imām Ahmad)[
